Dear Friends,

My name is Eddie Iduoze, those who are close to me refer to me as Pastor Eddie or PE for short.

 

I've had the privilege of being a Pastor for 15 years and it's been a rewarding experience.

Being a part of the lives of so many people, celebrating new jobs, graduation, marriages, baby dedications, spiritual growth among other things.

 

But nothing prepared me for the other side of ministry....

Supporting People Through the Difficult Challenges that Life Throws at Them.

There's nothing that grieves the heart of a genuine Pastor as much as seeing your member going through challenges, difficulties and pain and seeing the distress it causes them and others around them.

 

It doesn't matter whether it's to do with their relationships, their career or business, their health, challenges with the authorities, their finances, problems their close friends or family members go through that impact on them.....

 

Whatever the case, because it affected my church members, it affected me deeply.

 

Over the years I began to notice a few common trends...

  • Some people were going through certain challenges. They had tried everything reasonably possible and even more and yet nothing changed, even though others would do a fraction of what they did and see an immediate improvement

  • Some experience certain situations where the experts had written off their case. Their only option was a speedy divine intervention.

  • There were also those who were faced with urgently desperate problems. If a change didn't happen very soon, they would lose something or someone very important to them

  • There's also familiar patterns that worry people. Mum got divorced, aunts and uncles got divorced, big brother and sister are divorced and now personally going through a tough time in marriage and worried about the pattern occurring in his or her life. Sometimes this pattern could be health, money or anything else.

There was a season a few years ago when there were a few of the above happening at the same time for a few members of my church.

 

And it was this time that the Holy Spirit led me to introduce something that brought a big transformation in our church.....

...The 7 Midnight Watch

For 7 consecutive nights, I gathered members of my church and after teaching them, we prayed and praised God through the midnight hour.

 

This event was tagged "The 7 Midnight Watch" and it was based on 2 scriptures:

 

"At midnight the Lord struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the prisoner, who was in the dungeon, and the firstborn of all the livestock as well." - Exodus 12:29

 

and

 

"And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.  And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed." - Acts 16:25-26

 

God proved himself in a way that astonished us all.

 

Before the event ended and after the 7 Midnight Watch, more and more people testified of how they experienced breakthroughs and turnarounds in areas they had been struggling.

 

Some were issues that had been longstanding for many years.

 

We gave God the glory, but we didn't stop there.

 

We didn't want this to be a one-off event.

 

So we packaged the recordings of the event and whenever a member of my church was facing one of those challenges that are overwhelming, persistent or intimidating, I would encourage them to embark on a 7 Midnight Watch praying along with the recordings of the original event.

 

And over the years we have seen so many testimonies and they still keep coming in.

I got married March 2013, returned back from my honeymoon on Wednesday and my contract was terminated on Friday.  

 

After several unsuccessful interviews and two months of being at home, Pastor Eddie suggested that my husband & I listen to, and pray along with, the “7 Midnight watch” prayers, accompanied by a fast.  

The content that I focused on was around pulling down of career city gates.   Exactly seven days after the prayers and fasting I got an interview and God gave me speed and favour at the interview and I was able to secure the role.  

 

I have been in that role since Sep 2013, received two internal promotions and two maternity leave periods later, God has proven himself faithful.   My husband, praying those prayers along with me, has also flourished in his career and we are still benefiting from the prayers because he got one of his dream roles this year.  

 

We have gone back to the prayers a few times and I plan to use it again before making the next switch in jobs

Sometime in Dec 2016. I had been going through a stagnant spell in my career, whenever I attended interviews I was good and performed well but never got the job.

 

There always seemed to be a BUT.  Minister Jp advised me to do the 7 day midnight watch.

 

So I did a 7 day fast as well as the prayers from 14th Dec to 21st Dec 2016. In January 2017, I attended an interview and was told they really liked me but they would be going with someone else as the person lived closer.

 

But there was another role coming up in Feb and they would be in touch regarding that role. I continued applying for jobs and self studying to update my skills and in Feb I got another call from the same agency to start the new role that had come up.

 

This was even better than the first as the location was just perfect for me. I can confidently say that since then I haven't had any issues with my contracts.

 

Things are moving on smoothly for me regarding my career. God has opened so many doors of opportunities for me and I am so grateful

I was battling deep rooted issues with words / prophecies that had been spoken to me from childhood and even things that has happened in my life over the years.

 

I was struggling so much as I just didn’t know what to do.

 

To say it was an eye opener for me would be an understatement as I realised how deeply bound I was to the lies of the devil as well as how unaware I was to spiritual gates / barriers in life.

 

The series showed me how to speak the word of God to reverse ungodly prophecies, words I had accepted, how to pray and stand on God’s word.

 

It is an ongoing process which is why I will go through the series at interval to gear me up spiritually whenever I require it.

My experience with the 7 midnight watch came about in 2017, when my husband began looking for a job.

 

He had just received his stay in the UK and we were believing God for a 2 income household. I knew that he wanted to start in his field straight away, but because of his previous status, he had no experience whatsoever, and this looked unlikely to happen.

 

Still, I began the seven midnight watch and before the time to pray during day 4, my husband had an offer for a job in his chosen career path, which he accepted
